Partner enablement in PartnerOS gives you a structured way to educate your partners, certify their knowledge, and share proof points from real customer wins. The Enablement section is split into two areas: Trainings (which includes certifications and specializations) and Case Studies. Partners access all published content through their portal view of the same page.

What enablement covers

Training modules are self-paced courses made up of individual lessons. Each lesson can be a video, article, quiz, document, or an AI-generated video slide deck. You control the order of lessons within a training and can publish or unpublish content at any time. Specializations group multiple related training modules into a learning path. Partners who complete a specialization unlock any certifications that require it. Certifications are credentials you issue to partner contacts who complete a required training or specialization. Each certification can have a validity period (in months), after which the credential expires and requires renewal. Case studies are written narratives tied to closed deals. They capture the customer challenge, your solution, the partner’s contribution, and the business outcomes. You control whether each case study is visible only to your internal team or also to the relevant partner.

Create and publish a training module

1

Go to Enablement

In the left sidebar, click Enablement. The main Enablement page opens with metrics at the top and your training catalog below.
2

Create a new training

Click New training. In the dialog that appears, enter:
  • Title — the name of the training module.
  • Description — a short summary of what the training covers.
  • Estimated duration — the expected time to complete in minutes.
  • Cover image — an optional image shown in the partner-facing catalog.
Click Create. The training is saved as a draft.
3

Add lessons

Open the training and click Add lesson. For each lesson, choose a content type and fill in the details:
Content typeWhen to use
VideoEmbed a hosted video URL
ArticleWrite rich text content directly in PartnerOS
QuizCreate a multiple-choice assessment
DocumentLink to or upload a reference document
Generated videoUse PartnerOS AI to build a narrated slide deck
Add as many lessons as you need. Drag and drop the lessons to reorder them — the order you set here is the order partners see them.
4

Publish the training

When the training is ready for partners, toggle Published on and save. Published trainings appear in the partner-facing catalog immediately.
Partners can only enroll in and complete published trainings. Drafts are invisible to partner contacts.

Create a certification

Certifications are earned automatically when a partner contact completes the required training or specialization. You can also issue certificates manually.
1

Open the Certifications tab

On the Enablement page, switch to the Certifications tab.
2

Click New certification

Enter a title and optional description. Then link the certification to a prerequisite:
  • Required training — the partner contact must complete this specific training to earn the certificate.
  • Required specialization — the partner contact must complete all trainings in this specialization.
3

Set validity (optional)

Enter a Validity period in months if the certification expires. Leave this blank for certifications that never expire.
4

Publish

Toggle Published and save. Once published, PartnerOS issues certificates automatically when the prerequisite is met.

Issue a certificate manually

If you need to grant a certificate outside the normal completion flow — for example, to recognize prior experience — open the certification, click Issue manually, select the partner contact, and confirm.
Every issued certificate gets a unique validation hash. Partners can share this hash and anyone can verify the credential at your public certificate-validation URL without needing a PartnerOS account.

Create a specialization

A specialization bundles multiple trainings into an ordered learning path.
1

Go to the Specializations tab

On the Enablement page, click Specializations.
2

Click New specialization

Enter a title, description, and optional cover image.
3

Add trainings

Select one or more published trainings to include. Use drag and drop to set the order in which partners should complete them.
4

Publish

Toggle Published and save. Partners see the specialization in their learning path alongside individual trainings.

Add case studies

Case studies are generated automatically from closed deals, but you can also create and edit them manually.

Auto-generated case studies

When a deal is marked closed-won in PartnerOS, the system can generate a case study narrative using deal details and partner context. The narrative covers the customer challenge, the proposed solution, the partner’s value-add, and measurable outcomes. Generated case studies start as internal only — you control when to make them visible to the partner.

Publish a case study to a partner

1

Go to Case Studies

In the Enablement section, click the Case Studies tab.
2

Find the case study

Use the vertical, use-case, or segment filters to locate the case study you want to share.
3

Set visibility

Open the case study row action menu and choose Publish to partner. The case study moves from Internal only to Partner visible and appears in the relevant partner’s portal view immediately.
4

Unpublish if needed

To retract a case study, open the same action menu and choose Unpublish from partner.
A partner contact only sees case studies where the visibility field is set to Partner visible and the case study is linked to their partner organization.

Regenerate a case study narrative

If deal details have changed or the initial narrative needs improvement, open the case study and click Regenerate. PartnerOS rebuilds the narrative using the current deal data.

How partners access enablement materials

Partner contacts log into the PartnerOS partner portal using the account provisioned when they were added as a primary contact. Once logged in, they see the Enablement page in partner view, which includes:
  • Learning path — a list of available trainings and specializations with progress indicators and a Start or Continue button for each item.
  • My credentials — a list of earned certifications, each with the issue date, expiry date (if applicable), and a shareable validation link.
  • Case studies — case studies marked as Partner visible and linked to their organization.
Partners can mark lessons complete, track their progress through a training, and download their certificates directly from the portal.
Admins can preview the partner view by clicking View as partner in the Enablement page header. This mode is read-only and does not create enrollment records or affect metrics.
