PartnerOS exposes a subset of its partner-relationship tools to AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — including Claude and ChatGPT. Once connected, you can ask your assistant to look up partner data, draft action items, edit your ICP/IPP, or generate a pitch deck, without leaving your chat.

What it can do

Every action runs under your own PartnerOS role and permissions — the assistant never sees more than you’re allowed to see, and every write is logged to your organization’s audit trail. Look things up
  • query_partners — search your partners by status, stage, tier, industry, region, or fit/health score
  • query_opportunities — search partner opportunities by stage or amount
  • search / fetch — free-text search across your partners, with full record lookup
  • read_icp — read your current Ideal Customer Profile
  • check_generation_status — check progress on an in-progress deck generation
Take action (requires an Owner, Admin, Partner Leader, or Partner Manager role)
  • create_action_item — create a partner follow-up / to-do
  • edit_icp / edit_ipp — propose a field-level edit to your ICP or IPP
  • generate_deck — generate a partner pitch deck or video pitch from a name or company domain

Connect PartnerOS to Claude

  1. In claude.ai, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Enter https://app.partneros.ai/mcp as the server URL.
  3. Claude will open a sign-in window — log in with your PartnerOS account.
  4. Review and approve the permissions PartnerOS is requesting, then you’re connected.
Available on every Claude plan, including Free (limited to one custom connector). On a Team or Enterprise plan, an organization Owner can add PartnerOS once for the whole workspace under Organization Settings → Connectors.

Connect PartnerOS to ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Apps → Advanced → Developer mode and turn it on.
  2. Add a new app with server URL https://app.partneros.ai/mcp.
  3. Sign in with your PartnerOS account and approve access when prompted.
Business/Enterprise/Edu workspace admins can instead publish PartnerOS once for their whole workspace under Workspace Settings → Apps.

Example prompts

  • “Which of my partners are at platinum tier but haven’t had activity in the last 30 days?”
  • “Create a follow-up action item for Acme Corp to send the updated pricing sheet by Friday.”
  • “Build me a 5-slide pitch deck for a company called northwind.com, focused on their cloud migration angle.”

Data & permissions

PartnerOS never grants an assistant more access than your own PartnerOS role already has, and every tool call — read or write — is recorded in your organization’s audit log, visible to your admins. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data accessed through connected AI assistants is handled.
